Most exports take around 2 to 4 months from order to registration in Japan. Sea freight is the longest part, and schedules vary with the shipping line, route and season.

RoRo or container?RoRo船とコンテナの違い
RoRo (roll-on/roll-off): the car is driven onto a vehicle-carrier ship. Usually the most economical option. Container: the car travels inside a sealed container, either on its own or shared — often chosen for higher-value cars.
RoRo船：車両を自走で自動車専用船に積み込みます。一般的に最も経済的です。コンテナ：車両を密閉コンテナに積載します（単独または混載）。高額な車両でよく選ばれます。
FOB or CIF?FOBとCIFの違い
FOB: we deliver the car to the UK port and you or your forwarder book the sea freight. CIF: we arrange sea freight and insurance to your Japanese port, all in one quote.

What is the time difference?時差はどのくらいですか？
Japan is 8 hours ahead of the UK during British Summer Time (late March to late October) and 9 hours ahead in winter. Our hours (Mon–Sat 9am–6pm UK) are roughly 5pm–2am in Japan in summer, or 6pm–3am in winter.
